The Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA) softball the host Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA), 8-6 in Friday's league outing.

The Longhorns now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pioneer for a non-league test on Monday, March 23. Leigh will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 8-5 league loss to Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-6.
