Tennessee High School Softball - Clay County bounces Jackson County
March 21, 2022: Gainesboro, TN 38562 Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Clay County Bulldogs (Celina, TN) and the host Jackson County Blue Devils (Gainesboro, TN), witnessed Clay County's softball squad tip Jackson County by a count of 12-5.
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Pickett County for a 1A District 7 match on Thursday, March 24.
With the loss, Jackson County moves to 0-1 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Bledsoe County (Pikeville, TN) to meet the Warriors in a 2A District 5 match on Friday, March 25. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 5-0. Bledsoe County won 5-1 in their recent non-league match against Marion County (Jasper, TN)
