Center Roughriders (Center, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX), 9-6 in a league test.

With the win, Center upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Roughriders host Carthage (Carthage, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a 4A Region III District 17 test on Friday, March 24. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 14-4. Carthage won 6-1 in their recent league test against Kilgore (Kilgore, TX)

With the defeat, Gilmer falls to 1-4 on the season. The Buckeyes travel to Spring Hill (Longview, TX) to battle the Panthers in a 4A Region III District 17 test on Tuesday, March 28. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 12-4.
