March 21, 2025: Oakboro, NC 28129 The West Stanly Colts triumphed over the visiting Anson Bearcats baseball squad by a score of 15-4 in Friday's league outing.
Next up, the Colts battle the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A outing, on Tuesday, March 25. West Stanly will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the outing with a 4-5 record after their 11-0 league loss to Central Academy (Monroe, NC).
The Bearcats (3-8) will now prepare for their outing against Central (Pageland, SC). The Eagles come into the non-league outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Central toppled North Central (Kershaw, SC), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
