The Dalhart Wolves (Dalhart, TX) baseball trounced the visiting River Road Wildcats (Amarillo, TX), 11-1 in Friday's league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Childress for a 3A Region I District 1 challenge on Monday, March 24. Dalhart will clash with a Bobcats team coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Hamlin (Hamlin, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 8-6.

With the defeat, River Road drops to 4-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Bushland (Bushland, TX) to clash with the Falcons in a 3A Region I District 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 9-9. Bushland won 10-1 in their recent league challenge against Tulia (Tulia, TX)
