South Carolina High School Softball - Buford bounces Chesterfield
March 21, 2025: Lancaster, SC 29720 The Buford Yellow Jackets softball squad scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Chesterfield Golden Rams to 12 in the Yellow Jackets non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Buford improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Yellow Jackets travel to Cheraw (Cheraw, SC) to face the Braves in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 25. The Braves enter the game with a record of 0-5. Cheraw lost 5-0 in their recent non-league game against North Central (Kershaw, SC)
The Golden Rams now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Hartsville for a non-league game on Monday, March 24. Chesterfield will face a Red Foxes squad coming off a 21-3 league win over Lakewood (Sumter, SC). The Red Foxes record now stands at 9-3.
