The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC) and the host First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC), observed Manteo's softball team get by First Flight by a tally of 6-1.

The Redskins (6-3) will now prepare for their bout against Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Knights go into the Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A bout with a 5-3 record. In their last bout, Currituck County was routed by Camden County (Camden, NC), 7-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Nighthawks clash with the Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A bout, on Tuesday, March 25.
