The First Flight Nighthawks softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Hertford County Bears to 0 in the Nighthawks league win on Friday.

The Nighthawks now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holmes for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A battle on Tuesday, April 8. First Flight will confront a Aces team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Aces record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Hertford County moves to 1-12 on the season. The Bears travel to North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC) to confront the Husky in a non-league battle on Monday, April 7.
