The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Pottsboro Cardinals (Pottsboro, TX) and the host Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX), observed Pottsboro's softball team get by Howe by a tally of 5-3.

The Cardinals (4-10) will now prepare for their bout against Leonard (Leonard, TX). The Tigers go into the 3A Region II District 11 bout with a 2-17 record. In their last bout, Leonard by Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX), 10-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the S & S Consolidated Rams (Sadler, TX) in a 3A Region II District 11 bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Howe will attempt to advance on its 4-11 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 11-0 record after their 5-0 league win over Gunter (Gunter, TX).
