The Scott Skyhawks (Madison, WV) baseball edged the host Wayne Pioneers (Wayne, WV), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

Next up, the Skyhawks encounter the Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 23. Scott will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Big Blacks go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Wirt County (Elizabeth, WV).
