The Wayne Pioneers baseball squad (Wayne, WV), was overwhelmed 9-4 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV)

With the triumph, Point Pleasant moves its record to 18-11 on the season. The Big Blacks host Huntington (Huntington, WV) to confront the Highlanders in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 14. The Highlanders come into the contest with a record of 15-13. Huntington won 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV)

The Pioneers now possess a 8-21 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chapmanville Regional for a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 13. Wayne will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Man (Man, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 7-21.
