The Plano Wildcats triumphed over the visiting McKinney Lions softball squad by a count of 14-4 in Saturday's league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Allen Eagles (Allen, TX) in a 6A Region I District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, March 24. Plano will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 17-3 record after their 13-3 league win over Rock Hill (Frisco, TX).

The Lions (2-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Allen (Allen, TX). The Eagles enter the 6A Region I District 6 battle with a 17-3 record.
