Weed Cougars (Weed, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Trinity Wolves (Weaverville, CA), 5-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Weed upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Burney (Burney, CA) to battle the Raiders in a non-league test on Friday, April 1. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 0-1. Burney 8-8 in their recent non-league test against Hayfork (Hayfork, CA)

With the defeat, Trinity falls to 4-5 on the season. The Wolves travel to Etna (Etna, CA) to battle the Lions in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 22. The Lions come into the test with a record of 3-4. Etna lost 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Yreka (Yreka, CA)
