The Weed Cougars (Weed, CA) baseball nipped the visiting Trinity Wolves (Weaverville, CA), 4-3 in Friday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Cougars play the Burney Raiders (Burney, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 2. Weed will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 1-7 record after their 12-0 league loss to Redding Christian (Palo Cedro, CA).
