Kentucky High School Softball - Tolsia topped by Phelps
March 22, 2024: Phelps, KY 41553 The Phelps Hornets softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Tolsia Rebels to 0 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Phelps moves its record to 1-4 on the year. The Hornets travel to Mingo Central (Matewan, WV) to clash with the Miners in a non-league game on Saturday, March 23. The Miners come into the game with a record of 1-1. Mingo Central won 13-6 in their recent non-league game against East Ridge (Lick Creek, KY)
In their next game, the Rebels clash with the Wayne Pioneers (Wayne, WV) in a Cardinal game, on Monday, March 25. Tolsia will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Pioneers come into the game with a 1-7 record after their 14-0 non-league loss to Raceland (Raceland, KY).
