April 16, 2024: Fort Gay, WV 25514 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Mingo Central Miners (Matewan, WV) and the host Tolsia Rebels (Fort Gay, WV), witnessed Mingo Central's softball squad prevail over Tolsia by a count of 16-2.
The Miners now sport a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to East Carter for a non-league match on Saturday, April 20. Mingo Central will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 13-3.
