March 23, 2024: Brush Prairie, WA 98606 The Hockinson Hawks held off the visiting R.A. Long Lumberjacks soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's league match.
The Hawks now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hudson's Bay for a 2A Greater St. Helens game on Tuesday, March 26. Hockinson will play a Eagles squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Woodland (Woodland, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
The Lumberjacks (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Mark Morris (Longview, WA). The Monarchs go into the 2A Greater St. Helens game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Mark Morris was nudged by Ridgefield (Ridgefield, WA), 2-1, in a league game.
