In Friday's non-league challenge, the North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys (Moneta, VA), by a final score of 11-1.

With the win, North Cross upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Raiders travel to Covenant (Charlottesville, VA) to battle the Eagles in a VISAA Virginia Independent challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Covenant won 12-1 in their recent league challenge against Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA)

With the defeat, Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy falls to 3-3 on the season. The Ospreys host Carlisle (Axton, VA) to battle the Chiefs in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 27.
