The Midway Raiders baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Rosewood Eagles to 3 in the Raiders league win on Tuesday.

The Raiders now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host South Johnston for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 25. Midway will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to Southern Lee (Sanford, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 2-5.

The Eagles (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC). The Bulldogs enter the Swine Valley 2A/3A outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Wallace-Rose Hill achieved victory over Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC), 18-8, in a league outing.
