Arizona High School Volleyball - Desert Edge over South Mountain
March 25, 2024: Goodyear, AZ 85338 Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Scorpions clash with the Youngker Roughriders (Buckeye, AZ) in a 5A Central Valley match, on Tuesday, March 26. Desert Edge will attempt to advance on its 9-2 season record. The Roughriders come into the match with a 1-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Verrado (Buckeye, AZ).
With the loss, South Mountain drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ) to clash with the Pride in a non-league match on Thursday, March 28. The Pride come into the match with a record of 3-3. Mountain Pointe won 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Fairfax (Laveen, AZ)
