The Marvin Ridge Mavericks walloped the visiting Sun Valley Spartans lacrosse team by a final score of 22-5 in Monday's league match.

With the win, Marvin Ridge betters its record to 6-6 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Weddington (Matthews, NC) to play the Warriors in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River match on Thursday, March 28. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 3-5. Weddington lost 10-6 in their recent non-league match against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC)

With the defeat, Sun Valley drops to 5-4 on the season. The Spartans travel to Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC) to play the Pirates in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River match on Thursday, March 28.
