The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA) and the visiting South Fayette Lions (McDonald, PA), saw Moon Area's baseball team gain a win over South Fayette by a tally of 8-4.

The Tigers (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Peters Township (McMurray, PA). The Indians enter the WPIAL 5A 2 battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Peters Township held off Baldwin (Pittsburgh, PA), 5-4, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Lions face the Chartiers Valley Colts (Bridgeville, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 2 battle, on Monday, March 31. South Fayette will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
