The South Fayette Lions baseball squad (McDonald, PA), 11-8 in Wednesday's league contest with the visiting Peters Township Indians (McMurray, PA)

With the triumph, Peters Township moves its record to 13-6 on the season. The Indians host North Allegheny (Wexford, PA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league contest on Friday, May 9. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 13-6. North Allegheny won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA)

The Lions now possess a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morgantown for a non-league contest on Thursday, May 8. South Fayette will confront a Mohigans squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV). The Mohigans record now stands at 20-9.
