Sherman Tide (Seth, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Charleston Catholic Irish (Charleston, WV), 8-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Sherman upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Tide host Riverside (Belle, WV) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Monday, March 28. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 0-2.

The Irish (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Greater Beckley Christian (Prosperity, WV). The Crusaders go into the West Virginia Christian game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Greater Beckley Christian tipped Montcalm (Montcalm, WV), 16-0, in a league game.
