The Charleston Catholic Irish baseball team (Charleston, WV), was overwhelmed 8-0 in Monday's non-league outing with the visiting Sherman Tide (Seth, WV)

The Tide now hold a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 12. Sherman will confront a Panthers team coming off a 11-7 non-league loss to Capital (Charleston, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 2-9.

Next, the Irish confront the Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, April 12. Charleston Catholic will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Patriots go into the outing with a 5-3 record after their 11-4 league loss to Nicholas County (Summersville, WV).
