Colorado High School Lacrosse - Battle Mountain can't get by Vail Mountain
March 26, 2022: Edwards, CO 81632 In Saturday's league test, the visiting Vail Mountain Gore Rangers lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-9 victory over the Battle Mountain Huskies.
The Gore Rangers now have a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Telluride for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 29. Vail Mountain will face a Miners squad coming off a 17-11 non-league loss to Dawson School (Lafayette, CO). The Miners record now stands at 2-1.
In their next game, the Huskies face the Steamboat Springs Sailors (Steamboat Springs, CO) in a 4A Western test, on Monday, March 28. Battle Mountain will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Sailors come into the test with a 3-2 record after their 17-6 non-league win over Thompson Valley (Loveland, CO).
