Colorado High School Lacrosse - Vail Mountain overwhelms Steamboat Springs
April 7, 2022: Steamboat Springs, CO 80487 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Vail Mountain Gore Rangers (Vail, CO) and the host Steamboat Springs Sailors (Steamboat Springs, CO), saw Vail Mountain's lacrosse team top Steamboat Springs by a margin of 15-4.
The Gore Rangers (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO). The Devils enter the 4A Western challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Eagle Valley beat Aspen (Aspen, CO), 12-11, in a league challenge.
The Sailors (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO). The Red-Tailed Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Cheyenne Mountain was overwhelmed by Denver South (Denver, CO), 10-9, in a non-league challenge.
