The Montwood Rams routed the visiting Coronado Thunderbirds softball squad by a count of 14-4 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Rams (23-5) will now prepare for their battle against Americas (El Paso, TX). The Trail Blazers go into the 6A Region I District 1 battle with a 11-15 record. In their last match, Americas was routed by Socorro (El Paso, TX), 14-0, in a league match.

With the loss, Coronado moves to 8-16 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to Franklin (El Paso, TX) to meet the Cougars in a 6A Region I District 1 match on Thursday, March 28.
