The High Point Central Bison softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Trinity Bulldogs to 8 in the Bison non-league win on Wednesday.

The Bison now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dudley for a Mid-State 3A battle on Friday, March 28. High Point Central will confront a Panthers team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Trinity moves to 2-8 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC) to confront the Wildcats in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A battle on Friday, March 28. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 0-8. Eastern Randolph lost 10-0 in their recent league battle against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC)
