Martins Ferry Purple Riders (Martins Ferry, OH) boosters exited the stadium happy Wednesday as they observed their softball team get by the visiting Indian Creek Redskins (Wintersville, OH), 9-7 in a non-league bout.

The Purple Riders (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Buckeye Local (Rayland, OH). The Panthers go into the Ohio Valley Athletic AAA bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Buckeye Local by Barnesville (Barnesville, OH), 9-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Redskins clash with the Buckeye Local Panthers (Rayland, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 31. Indian Creek will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record.
