The Leigh Longhorns the visiting Branham Bruins baseball squad by a score of 7-2 in Thursday's league outing.

Coming up next, the Longhorns play the Soquel Knights (Soquel, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 28. Leigh will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 8-1 record after their 20-0 league win over San Lorenzo Valley (Felton, CA).

With the defeat, Branham drops to 3-9 on the year. The Bruins host Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA) to battle the Pirates in a Mount Hamilton outing on Tuesday, March 31.
