Louisiana High School Softball - Airline holds off West Ouachita
March 28, 2022: Bossier City, LA 71111 Airline Vikings (Bossier City, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting West Ouachita Chiefs (West Monroe, LA), 8-6 in a non-league challenge.
With the triumph, Airline improves its record to 15-6 on the year. The Vikings host Byrd (Shreveport, LA) to clash with the Yellow Jackets in a 5A District 1 game on Tuesday, March 29. The Yellow Jackets come into the game with a record of 0-4.
In their next game, the Chiefs clash with the West Monroe Rebels (West Monroe, LA) in a 5A District 2 game, on Tuesday, March 29. West Ouachita will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Rebels come into the game with a 17-4 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Hahnville (Boutte, LA).
