March 28, 2023: Chesapeake, VA 23323 The Great Bridge Wildcats baseball team (Chesapeake, VA), was overwhelmed 10-1 in Tuesday's league outing with the host Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA)
The Grizzlies now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Maury for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 1. Grassfield will face a Commodores team coming off a 14-0 league win over Manor (Portsmouth, VA). The Commodores record now stands at 4-1.
Next, the Wildcats face the Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, March 29. Great Bridge will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Knights enter the outing with a 7-1 record after their 12-4 league win over Manteo (Manteo, NC).
