In Tuesday's league contest, the Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC) lacrosse squad routed the visiting Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC), by a count of 14-6.

Coming up next, the Cougars confront the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) in a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills contest, on Thursday, March 30. Asheville will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Indians come into the contest with a 6-6 record after their 16-1 league win over Patton (Morganton, NC).

The Pioneers now own a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Hickory for a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills contest on Tuesday, April 4. Watauga will confront a Red Tornadoes squad coming off a 15-2 non-league win over South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 6-2.
