The Asheville Cougars lacrosse squad (Asheville, NC), was overwhelmed 11-5 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC)

Coming up next, the Red Tornadoes meet the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 5. Hickory will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Wolf Pack enter the challenge with a 1-15 record after their 17-5 league loss to Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC).

The Cougars now sport a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Ardrey Kell for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 2. Asheville will meet a Knights squad coming off a 21-0 league win over Butler (Matthews, NC). The Knights record now stands at 13-6.
