March 28, 2024: Twin City, GA 30471 In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) baseball squad edged the visiting Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets (Brooklet, GA), by a final score of 3-2.
With the win, Emanuel County Institute upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Portal (Portal, GA) to battle the Panthers in a 1A D-II Area 3 challenge on Monday, April 1. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-12. Portal lost 14-5 in their recent league challenge against Jenkins County (Millen, GA)
With the defeat, Southeast Bulloch falls to 10-6 on the season. The Yellow jackets travel to Benedictine (Savannah, GA) to battle the Cadets in a 4A Area 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Cadets come into the challenge with a record of 10-8. Benedictine lost 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Baker County (Glen St. Mary, FL)
