Bassett Bengals (Bassett, VA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting George Washington Eagles (Danville, VA), 8-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bengals confront the Magna Vista Warriors (Ridgeway, VA) in a Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, April 9. Bassett will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 4-1 league win over Halifax County (South Boston, VA).
