Kentucky High School Softball - Shelby Valley gets by East Ridge
March 28, 2024: Pikeville, KY 41501 Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Shelby Valley Wildcats (Pikeville, KY) and the visiting East Ridge Warriors (Lick Creek, KY), witnessed Shelby Valley's softball squad tip East Ridge by a count of 2-1.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Belfry for a non-league match on Monday, April 1. Shelby Valley will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV). The Pirates record now stands at 5-2.
The Warriors (4-3) will now prepare for their test against River View (Bradshaw, WV). The Raiders enter the non-league test with a 1-2 record.
