Delta Charter Dragons (Tracy, CA) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host River Islands Riptide (Lathrop, CA), 12-6 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Delta Charter improves its record to 1-5 on the year. The Dragons travel to Elliot Christian (Lodi, CA) to play the Eagles in a Mountain Valley League game on Tuesday, April 1. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 0-4. Elliot Christian lost 18-1 in their recent non-league game against Millennium (Tracy, CA)

The Riptide now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Millennium for a Central California Athletic Alliance game on Thursday, April 3.
