March 29, 2022: Chesapeake, VA 23322 Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA), 7-4 in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oscar Smith for a Southeastern challenge on Thursday, March 31. Great Bridge will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 15-4 league loss to Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Grassfield falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Green Run (Virginia Beach, VA) to battle the Stallions in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 6. The Stallions enter the challenge with a record of 2-4.
