Virginia High School Softball - Grassfield gets by Great Bridge
May 5, 2022: Chesapeake, VA 23323 Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) and the visiting Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA), witnessed Grassfield's softball squad tip Great Bridge by a count of 5-4.
The Grizzlies now sport a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Oscar Smith for a Southeastern match on Tuesday, May 10.
With the loss, Great Bridge moves to 10-4 on the season. The Wildcats host Indian River (Chesapeake, VA) to face the Braves in a Southeastern match on Tuesday, May 10. The Braves go into the match with a record of 0-4. Indian River lost 17-0 in their recent league match against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA)
