Maryland High School Baseball - Loyola Blakefield holds off Archbishop Curley
March 29, 2023: Baltimore, MD 21213 Loyola Blakefield Dons (Towson, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Archbishop Curley Friars (Baltimore, MD), 6-2 in a league test.
With the win, Loyola Blakefield upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Dons travel to John Carroll (Bel Air, MD) to battle the Patriots in a MIAA A test on Friday, March 31. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 2-1. John Carroll lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD)
With the defeat, Archbishop Curley falls to 5-3 on the season. The Friars travel to Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD) to battle the Gaels in a MIAA A test on Friday, March 31. The Gaels come into the test with a record of 3-5.
