Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Slidell Tigers (Slidell, LA), 6-0 in a league challenge.

The Green Wave now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to LaGrange for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4.

With the loss, Slidell falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Pearl River (Pearl River, LA) to battle the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. The Rebels enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
