In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Mallard Creek Mavericks softball team scored a nice 17-0 win over the Hopewell Titans.

Coming up next, the Mavericks battle the West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC) in a Queen City 3A/4A outing, on Thursday, March 31. Mallard Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Lions enter the outing with a 4-6 record after their 21-14 league loss to North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC).
