The Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) baseball the host Charlotte Latin Hawks (Charlotte, NC), 5-1 in Friday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Lions play the Durham Academy Cavaliers (Durham, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 1. Covenant Day will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Cavaliers enter the contest with a 7-1 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC).

The Hawks now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host Charlotte Christian for a NCISAA Charlotte contest on Tuesday, April 4. Charlotte Latin will play a Knights squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA). The Knights record now stands at 9-6.
