Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC), 12-4 in a league test.

With the win, Covenant Day upgrades its record to 14-8 on the season. The Lions host Cannon (Concord, NC) to battle the Cougars in a NCISAA Charlotte test on Thursday, April 27. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 8-9. Cannon lost 12-4 in their recent league test against Covenant Day (Matthews, NC)
