In Friday's league challenge, the North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Silver Stage Nighthawks (Silver Springs, NV), by a final score of 17-7.

With the win, North Tahoe upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Lakers travel to Pershing County (Lovelock, NV) to battle the Mustangs in a 2A Northern challenge on Saturday, April 8. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 8-7.

With the defeat, Silver Stage falls to 0-8 on the season. The Nighthawks host Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV) to battle the Bighorns in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Bighorns come into the challenge with a record of 4-2.
