The North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) baseball trounced the host Silver Stage Nighthawks (Silver Springs, NV), 19-6 in Thursday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Lakers play the Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV) in a 2A Northern contest, on Friday, April 21. North Tahoe will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Longhorns enter the contest with a 6-7 record after their 10-4 league loss to Yerington (Yerington, NV).

The Nighthawks now sport a 0-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oasis Academy for a non-league contest on Monday, April 17. Silver Stage will play a Bighorns squad coming off a 18-5 non-league win over Tonopah (Tonopah, NV). The Bighorns record now stands at 7-3.
