The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Maple Mountain Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT) and the host Payson Lions (Payson, UT), saw Maple Mountain's baseball team gain a win over Payson by a tally of 15-5.

The Eagles (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against Salem Hills (Salem, UT). The Skyhawks enter the 5A Region 7 battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Salem Hills prevailed over Carbon (Price, UT), 16-6, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Lions confront the Springville Red Devils (Springville, UT) in a 5A Region 7 contest, on Monday, April 6. Payson will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Red Devils come into the contest with a 5-7 record after their 12-0 league loss to Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT).
