March 4, 2022: El Paso, TX 79924 San Elizario Eagles (San Elizario, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Irvin Rockets (El Paso, TX), 22-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. San Elizario will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 22-3 non-league loss to Burges (El Paso, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Irvin falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Burges (El Paso, TX) to battle the Mustangs in a 5A Region I District 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 8.
